Ponds, Streams, and Swamps
In my explorations of Long Island over the course of many years I’ve discovered several favorite locations that I return to photograph again and again.
This series of images focuses on smaller bodies of water along the Long Island interior. Amidst the suburban density, it’s possible to find small moments of natural beauty and tranquility. I’ve walked hundreds of miles along highways and through suburban parks, looking for patches of semi-wilderness to photograph.
