I would like to thank everyone who participated for a wonderful first month for the Print of the Month club. I had no idea what to expect when I first announced this venture, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. The print from February is just about sold out, and I am ready to announce the March edition.

This photograph is from Sheepshead Bay, in Brooklyn. As I mentioned on the blog back in January, I have been exploring this area on the outskirts of Brooklyn for a couple of years now. In that time, I have noticed some strange phenomena: bits of twine, fabric, and plastic tied to trees up and down the coastline, strange handmade objects nestled into the branches of trees, a miniature Christmas tree garden, and other oddities. And so I have returned, many times, to see what’s new and to capture some of that mystery with my camera. This photo was taken in early January of 2009.
