Very reminiscent of Shore’s roadtrip work. I particularly like image 3 with the washed out pink and the tension in image 5 between the bridge with it’s rust, curves and oblique angle and the tree that’s smack in the middle of everything. Was this film or digital? Either way, they really work for me.

Stephen Shore is obviously an inspiration for this series. It could be that they’re a bit too derivative, but it’s difficult to ignore the impact he’s had on this kind of photography.
I’m liking the new work. You seem to have a good awareness of the shadows in the images and have done a great job utilizing them as compositional elements (especially in the bottom 3).
I love the bottom image. Those shopping carts are fantastic!
