I am a photographer from Brooklyn, New York. I am currently working on a long-term project on the landscape of Long Island.
My weblog about landscape photography is called Third Nature. The term “third nature” refers to the intersection of art and the natural world. Historically, the notion of third nature refers to natural environments that have been altered for aesthetic purposes. Landscape art—though the manipulations are different—provides a similar aesthetic experience and therefore stands as its own kind of third nature.
